Year-end Tax Planning – Trusts

 

A checklist of a few items to examine further, before year-end.

Similar alerts apply to businesses and individuals, but in addition is the expectation that trust distribution resolutions have been made and there is some evidence that decisions have been made.  

Are there any beneficiaries who will turn 18 during the year and become potential beneficiaries?  If so, we need to know because it is necessary to notify the Australian Taxation Office very quickly.
